Sales Rep. vs. Real Contractors
When a homeowner deals with a Sales Rep. they can expect to always be told what the Sales Rep. has been told to tell them and what they personally want the potential customer to hear. You must remember that he/she has to sell you in order to make a commission for dealing with you. Take what they say with a grain of salt. The company itself has no liability for misleading statements made by Sales Reps.
When a homeowner deals with a contractor directly they can be assured that the words coming out of that contractor’s mouth are more than likely 100% truthful. The reason why is that a contractor is 100% responsible for what he says and it can be used against him. Not so for a Sales Rep. That is the BIG DIFFERENCE! Always choose to deal directly with the contractor whenever you can.
